Ariel Avissar is a lecturer and graduate student at the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University. His collaborative videographic projects include “Once Upon a Screen” (with Evelyn Kreutzer), the “TV Dictionary,” and the “Screen Stars Dictionary” (with Tecmerin: Journal of Audiovisual Essays). He is associate editor at [in]Transition: The Journal of Videographic Film & Moving Image Studies, and has published video essays, among others, at [in]Transition, NECSUS: European Journal of Media Studies, Tecmerin, Teknokultura: Journal of Digital Culture and Social Movements, MAI: Feminism & Visual Culture, Academic Quarter, The Cine-Files, and more.
