Primary areas of interest are contemporary literature and cinema with a particular emphasis on contemporary French and francophone literature, cinema and thought. In 2011 recipient of a elite postdoc scholarshiop from the Danish Council of Independent Research with the project 1979 - on translations and traces of memory in globalized francophone literature. In 2010 PhD with the dissertation The French and the World: Post-global Perspectives on Contemporary French Literature that treats new French literature in light of globalization with emphasis on the place of literature in the changed economic and discursive circuits of a globalized world. Has published a number of books and articles in Danish, English and French on contemporary French and American literature and culture. See more here
