Born 1976. Katherine Spring earned her Ph.D. in Communication Arts (Film Studies) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Film Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada. In addition to cognitive theories of narrative and narration, her research interests include film music, American film history, and East Asian cinema.
